📖Matthew 5:13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
Beloved, you will do well to pay close attention to this amazing portion of the scriptures. It will no doubt affect you positively and properly position to walk in the supernatural.
In my opinion, this is one of the most instructive passages ever written as well as one of one of the most profound words spoken by our Lord JESUS CHRIST.
When considering this verse above, some questions come to mind:
✳ "What is it that will be cast out and trodden under foot of men?
✳ Is it the salt, or is it possible that Jesus is speaking about the world?
You see, what you must understand is that every BELIEVER in CHRIST JESUS as both anointed and appointed by GOD to be the PRESERVING INFLUENCE of this world.
📖1 John 5:1 "Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is BORN OF GOD... 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God OVERCOMETH THE WORLD..."
By virtue of being BORN OF GOD, the New Creation possessing God's DNA has a Document of Permissive Dominance over the earth 🌍.
We were not giving this Preserving Influence to be bragadocious but to exercise it for the purpose of the Salvation of mankind. We are God's Instruments of Salvation in this world.
📖Obadiah 1:21 And SAVIOURS shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD's.
So, if we as believers LOSE our preserving influence, then there is no other way for the Lord to save the world. It will be dominated by men.
God flows through His people (His Righteous ones, those are so by faith in JESUS CHRIST).
📖Philippians 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
It is not our own power that changes people. It's God's power in us.
📖2 Corinthians 3:5 Not that we are sufficient (able) of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency (ability) IS OF GOD.
In other words, our abilities (which comprises, thinking, talking and acting like GOD) come from GOD. Their origin is in God. They hail from Him.
However, God will NOT do it WITHOUT us. It's a PARTNERSHIP.
📖1 Corinthians 1:9 God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship OF his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
📖1 Corinthians 3:9 "For we are labourers together WITH God..."
Many people (unstudious and unbelieving Christians) spend a lifetime PRAYING for God to move, not understanding that He is going to flow THROUGH THEM.
📖Acts 19:11 And GOD WROUGHT special miracles BY THE HANDS OF PAUL:
📖Galatians 2:8 (For HE (GOD) that WROUGHT effectually IN PETER to the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was MIGHTY IN ME toward the Gentiles:)
When we see less of the supernatural in manifestation or none of the miraculous in action, it is not God who is failing to intervene. It is God's people who are failing to cooperate and let Him flow through them.
How do we cooperate with GOD?
👉 By Believing In JESUS
📖John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
👉 By Yielding To The Holy Spirit
📖Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
Every BELIEVING Christian has CHRIST (The TOTALITY Of The GODHEAD) living in them (📖Col 1:27). Why? What for? For what purpose?
It simply means that:
📝 WE ARE CARRYING AROUND OTHER PEOPLE'S MIRACLES.
📝 IF we FAIL to WALK in the SUPERNATURAL power of God, then SOMEONE will MISS their miracle.
📝 WE are God's SALT to PRESERVE this PUTREFYING world.
Today, GET OUT of the shaker and LET THE LIFE of God which is in you FLOW to someone in need.
📖Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
