🏆CULTIVATE The HABIT Of RESISTING The Devil🏆

📖 James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. RESIST THE DEVIL, and he will flee from you.

First, I would like to expressly make it clear that I am not out here to exalt a defeated foe but to exalt the SUPREMACY of JESUS and to UNVEIL part of our INHERITANCE in CHRIST which includes both the RIGHT and ABILITY to RESIST the devil AT WILL.

If not because of JESUS, who came to unveil the True NATURE, IDENTIFY and CHARACTER of the FATHER we would have remained in the dark perpetually.

📖John 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared (revealed) him.

Before the coming of JESUS in the flesh (because JESUS had already EXISTED BEFORE EXISTENCE CAME INTO EXISTENCE 📖John 1:1), everyone attributed ALL EVIL HAPPENSTANCES to God.

For Example: JOB In his confusion said👇
📖Job 1:21 And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD "GAVE", and the LORD hath "TAKEN AWAY"; blessed be the name of the LORD.

Unfortunately Nowadays, due to the SATANICALLY INSPIRED DOCTRINES that has infiltrated the Church, most Christians still quote this statement when something goes wrong around them. They think they are been REALISTIC or RELIGIOUS. But that is PRIDE.

📝 PRIDE is when you choose your way instead of choosing God's way of doing things! 📖Rom 10:1-3

When JESUS came He made it very clear that Satan was responsible for EVERYTHING EVIL that goes on around a PERSON, a FAMILY, a COMMUNITY, a NATION and in the WORLD at large.

📖John 10:10 "The THIEF cometh not, but for to STEAL, and to KILL, and to DESTROY..."

Apostle Peter speaking in the house of Cornelius made it emphatically clear that Satan was directly responsible for the evils people experience:

📖Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and HEALING all that were OPPRESSED OF THE DEVIL; for God was with him.

If you would sit down patiently under a JESUS-FOCUSED Minister (📖Jer 3:15) and cultivate the habit of studying the Pauline Epistles for yourself (📖2 Tim 2:15), you would come to the conclusion that if something is not GOOD and PERFECT, then it is not of GOD. #CaseClosed

📖James 1:17 EVERY GOOD gift and EVERY PERFECT gift is FROM above, and cometh down from THE FATHER of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

According to what JESUS listed in 📖John 10:10,
The Mission of the devil is in 3 Fold:
👉 Steal
👉 Kill &
👉 Destroy

However, it is imperative to your total well-being to come to the understanding of the face that THESE WORKS of the devil have been DESTROYED COMPLETELY. That's one of the major reasons why JESUS, as GOD by Existence but a SAVIOUR by Assignment, came to earth 🌍:

📖1 John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. FOR THIS PURPOSE the SON OF GOD was MANIFESTED, that he might DESTROY the WORKS of the devil.

Notice that the "Works" are in plural not singular, explaining that what was written in 📖John 10:10 was inclusive in the works of the devil.

The Question Now Is This:
If this was part of JESUS' Purpose on Earth, did He fulfil them? Did He successfully DESTROY the WORKS of the devil?

Let's see:
📖John 17:4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I HAVE FINISHED THE WORK which thou gavest me to do.

Also let's look at:
📖Col 2:15 (Amplified Version)
AMP:[God] (through JESUS CHRIST) disarmed the principalities and powers that were ranged against us and made a bold display and public example of them, in triumphing over them in Him and in it [the cross]

But how did He do it?

📖Hebrews 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that THROUGH DEATH he might DESTROY HIM that HAD the power of death, that is, the devil

See how the Amplified Version puts it:
📖Heb 2:14
AMP:Since, therefore, [these His] children share in flesh and blood [in the physical nature of human beings], He [Himself] in a similar manner partook of the same [nature], that BY [GOING THROUGH] DEATH He might BRING TO NOUGHT and MAKE OF NO EFFECT him who HAD the power of death—that is, the devil

Beloved, there is Good News:
👉 Satan has been defeated
👉 Satan has been reduced to nothing
👉 Satan has been stripped of his former supremacy
In other words, SATAN IS NO LONGER A FACTOR BECAUSE OF WHAT JESUS HAS DONE! Hallelujah!

The Big Question:
At this point, I hear you asking, "But if that is true why does it look like Satan still have upper hand over certain people?"

There may be others, but for the purpose of establishing a point, There are Two Major Things that Triggers the devil's Influence over any Christian:

✒ 1 ✒ IGNORANCE Of Who JESUS Is To Us And What He Has Successfully Accomplished For Us!

📖Hosea 4:6 "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge... "
📖2 Corinthians  2:11 Lest Satan should get an ADVANTAGE of us: for we are not IGNORANT of his devices.

Did you notice that Paul said that "lest Satan SHOULD GET an advantage"... "Should get" simply means Satan doesn't have any advantage except the one we give him. #Selah #PauseAndPonder

That brings us to:
✒ 2 ✒ Manifesting or Walking In FEAR!

📖Hebrews 2:15  And deliver them who THROUGH FEAR of death were all their lifetime SUBJECT TO BONDAGE.

Once the devil notices any trace of FEAR (Fear Of Failure, Fear Of The Unknown, Fear Of Death, Fear of Hell, Fear of People's Opinion, Fear of Whatever It Is that you can think about), he sees a "Green Light", in other words, that PHOBIA gives him a right of entry.

That's why Apostle JAMES said to "submit yourselves unto GOD", how? By accepting that:
👉 He has ACCOMPLISHED ALL that there is to accomplish for us IN Christ Jesus.
👉 You ARE ALL that GOD wants us to be in Christ
👉 You HAVE ALL that He purposed for us to have as an Inheritance in Christ
👉 You can DO ALL that He says you can do through His Holy Spirit (The Greater One) In You.

Apostle Paul said to TIMOTHY
📖2 Timothy  1:7 For God hath NOT GIVEN US the spirit of FEAR; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

SO Why Manifest Something you weren't given?

Knowing this, Satan goes about looking for SOMEONE GULLIBLE enough to be deceived, so he can INSTILL FEAR in that person and eventually overpower him. His purpose for gallivanting is clearly revealed 👇

How Do We Resist The Devil 😈???

Some people think that it is by QUOTING SCRIPTURES just because of what transpired between JESUS and Satan in the WILDERNESS OF TEMPTATION, because JESUS kept saying "It Is Written"!

What they forget is that:
👉Satan also quoted the SCRIPTURES back to JESUS!
So why use what he already knows, what he already has access to? Besides God's Power is not necessarily in the SCRIPTURES but in the GOSPEL OF CHRIST! 📖Luke 4:9-11 📖Rom 1:16

👉 JESUS hadn't DIED and RESURRECTED yet, so He could only fall back to WHAT WAS WRITTEN.

Don't get me wrong please, There is a PLACE for the SCRIPTURES of course, but it is RESERVED for our "LEARNING" not our "RESISTING"!

📖Romans 15:4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime (The Scriptures) were WRITTEN FOR OUR LEARNING, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

Therefore, As GREAT as using the Scriptures (what is written) as a weapon against Satan's assaults concerning you is, it is a LESSER TRUTH compared to THE GREATER TRUTH that GOD, Abba Father Himself, has given to us in the New Testament.

It Is The NAME OF JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH!!!

Using The NAME OF JESUS is how we RESIST the devil 😈 in the New Testament. How do I know this?

📖 1 Peter 5:9 Whom RESIST stedfast IN THE FAITH

Did you notice he said we can only RESIST the devil 😈 IN THE FAITH??? What did he mean by that phrase "in the Faith"? He was simply referring to the NAME OF JESUS.
You are asking what's my proof, Huh?

Well, Faith is more than just a PRINCIPLE in the Kingdom of God, FAITH as we know it is a PERSON! (📖Heb 12:2)

📖Galatians 3:23 But BEFORE FAITH CAME, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.
📖Galatians 3:25 But AFTER THAT FAITH IS COME, we are NO LONGER UNDER a schoolmaster.

Therefore, to resist Satan IN THE FAITH is to resist him IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!

The only language Satan understands and fears today is the NAME OF JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH. Let ME make bold to say that You don't resist the devil with Olive Oil, Fasting, Perfume, Holy Water, Mantle, Stickers, Bracelets etc, but with the NAME OF JESUS!

Look, let me TELL you or rather let me WARN you 😡 with this: 👉 📖2 Corinthians 10:4 (For the WEAPONS of our WARFARE are "NOT CARNAL", but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

👉 BEFORE THE CROSS
📖Luke 10:17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the DEVILS are SUBJECT unto us THROUGH THY NAME.

👉 AFTER THE CROSS (POST RESURRECTION)
📖Acts 16:16-18 (A damsel possessed with a devil)
Acts 16:18 ... BUT Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I COMMAND thee IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST to come out of her. AND HE (the demon) CAME OUT the same hour. (They no born the demon well, he for stay na! He would have been ROASTED into PERPETUAL OBLIVION) 😁

Why Is That So?
Because:
👉 The NAME OF JESUS is the ONLY WEAPON we have been GIVEN in the New Testament

👉 JESUS is GOD'S AGENDA for these last days, therefore everything is obligated to HEAR HIM

👉 Philippians  2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a NAME which is above every name:  2:10 That at the NAME OF JESUS every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth

Don't let Satan run RAMPAGE on your life, CULTIVATE the HABIT of RESISTING him ALWAYS, USING the NAME OF JESUS. It is your RIGHT as a BELIEVER IN JESUS to cast out devils

Once the Devil realises that you are FOND OF USING the NAME OF JESUS at every slight move of his antics, he will back off from you and advise his minions to do the same. 😁 GLORRRRRRY 💃💃💃
